Funding for research-oriented practical course of Patrick Harms

The University of Goettingen grants Patrick Harms funding for developing and conducting a research-oriented practical course. The funding is provided in the context of the Campus QPlus project. In the course, groups of 4-6 students shall work on small research projects. The research will take place in the context of usability and user experience of GUIs, AR, and VR. The project will be conducted in the summer term 2019. The experience gathered through the execution of this course may be of relevance for other research groups at the institute of computer science and other faculties of the university.

Article published in the Springer Software Quality Journal

We are happy to announce that our article Test Descriptions with ETSI TDL has been published in the Springer Software Quality Journal. Within this article, we discuss the latest language design enhancements and the mapping of TDL to TTCN-3, as well as results from pilot application cases in different ETSI standardisation efforts.

Paper accepted at SAM 2018

We are happy to announce that our position paper Scheduling Architectures for Scientific Workflows in the Cloud is accepted for presentation at the 10th System Analysis and Modelling Conference (SAM 2018). The paper proposes the utilization of OCCI runtime models for the execution of workflows requiring a specific infrastructure by dynamically assigning cloud resources to workflow tasks.

Two Presentations and a tutorial accepted at the UCAAT 2018

We are proud to announce that two presentations, Object-oriented Features of TTCN-3 and Implementing the Standardised Mapping of TDL to TTCN-3, as well as a tutorial, From TDL to TTCN-3, all related to our continued contribution to the standardised test languages TTCN-3 and TDL, have been accepted at the 6th User Conference of Advanced Automated Testing (UCAAT) 2018 organised by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

DFG grant for DEFECTS project

We are happy to announce that the DFG has granted our request for funding for the DEFECTS project. The project will run for two years and focus on the replicability of defect prediction research and the quality of research results. More details on the project can be found on the project homepage
