We are currently looking for a research assistant in the field of software engineering with 50% of the regular working hours (currently 19.9 hours per week) and a limited contract of 3 years. Salary: Pay grade 13 TV-L.
Your duties
- Work on a research project in the research area of software engineering involving the development of techniques for measuring, analyzing, and detecting patterns and anomalies in resource usage of software systems as means to identify defects and technical risks
- Teach courses and administer examinations as defined in Section 31 of the Higher Education Act of Lower Saxony (NHG)
Your profile
- Master/diploma degree in computer science or a closely related discipline
- Profound knowledge in at least one of the following areas: software engineering, software evolution, or software profiling
- Proficiency in English and German
- Teaching and research experience is desirable
