In recent times, the advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have become ever more prevalent as they conspicuously permeate our workplaces, homes and the world at large. Therefore, as the application of AI-based systems in our everyday life continues to grow at a steady pace, the need to validate the safety, security, functionality and robustness of these systems is even more crucial as they stand an equal chance of failure like any conventional software. My research interest is in how to automatically identify the root cause of an unexpected behavior in an AI-based system.
